This is a vintage Holton Collegiate cornet. It has been recently serviced and plays well. It has dents, dings, finish wear and tarnish. The valves are smooth and all slides pull.

It plays pretty well for an old horn. It includes a Herco mouthpiece and an old torn up case to be used to help protect the horn in shipping. I would replace the case. Please ask questions and view pictures before bidding.

My son used this as his beginner instrument for the past 2 years. He has moved on to a trumpet. This has served him well while he was learning.

It functions well, the only issue is the third valve can stick over time. A little oil resolves this. All slides move freely. As this is a well loved horn, there are the usual minor dents and lacquer wear. See the pics for the current condition. The matching mouth pieces is included. Also included is a dense foam, fabric lined case that has been modified to fit the cornet, it is not the original case.
